Not sure how i would describe this event. I guess that if you watch some of the early Zuffa run UFC events and compare them to now you can see just how much Joe Silva has come along as UFC match maker. I wont spoil any results for you but what i can say is there is one boring decision, one amazing decision with one fighter who just wont submit and ends up getting his elbow dislocated for his trouble, a great fight with Bang Ludwig and Genki Sudo. There also some choice knockouts on the card also. The main event was ok between 2 great wrestlers and unfortunately for one fighter the other just out wrestled him. The main event is spoiled by the fact that Matt Hughes, much like his mentor Pat Miletich loves to go to a decision some times and this time is one of those fights. Sherk gets blooded up which makes for a good visual but a great ending such as a technical submission would have given this event an extra star but alas no it ends in a decision and a some what weak ending to an ok show.
