Whilst supervising the detonation of an experimental gamma bomb, scientist Bruce Banner rescues a reckless teenager from the explosion but is blasted with a full dose of gamma radiation. So begins the transformation into the uncontrollably strong and often maligned Hulk and a relentless battle against the no-nonsense, obsessive General “Thunderbolt” Ross and the malevolent genius Leader.
